Abacus does not have proper permission to function correctly

Problem

Abacus displays an error even though it appear it has all permissions in the permissions scheme. 

Abacus does not have proper permission to function correctly. Please makes sure that your permission scheme has the Project role "atlassian-addons-project-access" added to at least the following permissions

Cloud Solution

  1. Makes sure you add atlassian-addons-project-access to at minimum the permission listed above. The best solution is to add to all permissions. 

  2. Make sure Abacus has application access and is part of the administrators group. 

  3. Make sure that Abacus is in groups that have been granted access to global permissions such as "Bulk change"

Navigate to Applications by clicking upper right cog wheel.

  1. Click on the Application access link.

  2. In JIRA Software tab, give "addon_com.mumosystems.abacus" access to JIRA software.

Server or Datacenter Solution

  1. Makes sure you the users administrating the project have at a minimum the permission listed above. The best solution is to add to all permissions. 

  2. Make sure that the project administrator is in groups / role that have been granted access to global permissions such as "Bulk change"
