Triggers

Triggers specify when and how an Execution Plan will execute.

Issue Event Triggers

Issue Events set the Execution Plan to run on a Jira issue when specified matching events are detected, such as Issue Creation, Comment Update, or Work Log Deleted occur.

Issue Event Trigger options include:

  • Issue Created, Issue Updated, or Issue Deleted

  • Comment Created, Comment Updated, or Comment Deleted

  • Work Log Created, Work Log Updated, or Work Log Deleted

When using a Sub-Task to Issue Rollup or an Issue to Epic Rollup formula type, the trigger events you choose will only work in reaction to the events in the Sub-Task tickets or the children of the Epic.
