Like the Slack action, the email action is used to send emails outside Jira to email recipients when certain actions happen. Email actions allows smart values that allow you to insert issue values into the email context.

  • To: Recipient(s) of the email .

  • Subject line. Use the @ symbol to insert variable field values into the Subject line

  • Message. Use the @ symbol to insert variable field values into the Message
