Map Field Values

This action is used to map predefined options in Select List, Radio buttons, Check Boxes and other Jira System fields such as ‘Priority’, to corresponding numeric values for use in numeric calculations (or just to simply store the selected text value as a number).

The selected value can be stored in a result field or it can be forwarded to the next action to use in a calculation.

Open

• Select a Jira field with predefined values (e.g. Select List, Radio Button, Check Boxes)

• Specify which field option values should be assigned corresponding numeric values. Leave unchecked if the field option value should not be assigned a numeric value.

• For each of the selected field values, enter a corresponding numeric ‘Map To’ Value

• Save the Map Field Values Action
