Edit Issue Fields

This action is used to modify a Jira issue field. This action is useful particularly when you want to set a field value prior to, or following a calculation. Or, if you’d like, eliminate the formula(s) from your execution plan entirely and just use the Edit Issue Fields action to set field values based on certain conditions and triggers.

Choose from the fields available in the Issue Fields option box. You may choose as many fields as you want. Selecting a field adds it below for value-setting.
When selecting a Date or Date Time Picker Field, utilize the option Set as now to set the field’s value to the current date and time.
