Overview

Locations are primarily the corporate addresses where goods are delivered and services are conducted. When the procurement feature is activated, 'Locations' become essential in the creation of purchase orders.

Checkout allows for the creation, editing, deletion, import, and export of location data. It's crucial to note that Checkout is designed to designate only one primary location at any given time.

In the item requisition phase within 'Checkout,' the configured 'Locations' appear as selections on the checkout form . The options will only be available if the location field is visible, which can be adjusted in the portal settings. Customers can create a temporary location when ordering from the portal. The temporary location is useful when shipping assets to a location other than the office location. A great use for temporary locations is when organization users work from home.
