Integrations

Integrations are components that Checkout can connect with to streamline your workflow. We understand that each customer may have a different needs, and thus, we will include components that add value.

Asset Management

Checkout uses Jira External Assets API to store your assets for cloud customers. This is useful especially for customer using standard edition of Jira Service Management in the cloud.

Customers on premium edition of Jira Asset Management have the option to use wither Jira Assets, Checkout Jira External Assets or both asset management at the same time.

In the near future, we will be adding other Asset Management systems integration for more selection as Asset management systems. Integrations can be turned on in the Manage apps section by your Jira administrator.

Navigate to Apps> Manage Apps > Checkout > Integrate ions

Using your service account preferably, create a token to user to login to Jira assets.

Click connect to validate your Jira Assets Workspace availability. If you are on premium version of Jira Assets, you will connect and receive a workspace ID.

Next, after your Jira administrator has connected Checkout to Jira assets, you can navigate to any Jira Service Management project to enable assets integration for the specific project.

Utilizing Assets from Jira Assets in Checkout

Checkout needs to be aware of available assets from Jira Assets in order to make use of them in it’s various functions such us displaying assets in stock, assigning assets to users e.t.c. See the Asset Types section for details on this.
